Their creamery plays a big part in Cropwell Bishop village life. Most of their employees live locally, and some of them have been with them for more than 30 years!

Sharpham's thousand year old farm consists of five hundred acres owned by the Sharpham Trust. Their aim today is to farm successfully in the modern context and to produce world class wine and cheese in harmony with the environment and the natural beauty of the estate.

Godminster was born of a passion for organic farming and wildlife conservation. Ever since Richard Hollingbery bought Godminster Farm in 1993, he and his team have been pursuing an environmentally friendly and ethical approach to farming. Their approach incorporates the organic principles to the land and the livestock.

With Richard’s commitment to sustainable farming, organic was the only way. The farm was certified organic in 1999 by the Soil Association. With 1300 acres of beautiful landscape, the farm is home to 320 organic dairy cows. I AM NUT OK aim to create products that make people’s mouths water. Addictive like cheese, but even better. I AM NUT OK is more daring than dairy, using inventive visual and flavour combinations. It’s not meant to replace cheese, but to satisfy the tastebuds in a way any delicious food does.

They try to use the most environmentally friendly packaging for their products and for shipping. All of their spreads are housed in recyclable/reusable glass jars, their not cheeses are wrapped in paper, and their products are shipped with fully recyclable packaging using paper insulation or bubble wrap repurposed from deliveries we receive. They are focused on providing incredible food experience without costing the earth, much like us!  Cobble Lane Cured was created to make fermented & air-dried products using British meat, drawing on the experience and skills two of our founders had developed over years in the butchery trade. They began with a small range of salami inspired by Italian production methods that their team had learnt from spending time with salumiere throughout Sardinia and Sicily. 

Cobble Lane only use British meat in our products; pork and beef from traditional British breeds, lamb and goats, Yorkshire mangalitza and British wagyu, so that means we directly reduce the food mileage. They work closely with these suppliers, and try to be a good customer for them by taking, as far as possible, the cuts that aren't bought by their other customers; that means leaf fat, jowls and sows not eyeballs and tails.

In terms of reducing our carbon footprint, they waste hardly anything. Cobble Lane either sell offcuts to chefs at restaurants to use for stews or soup bases or croquettes, or whatever takes their fancy. Anything not sold there is sold via the TooGoodToGo App. And because they control the production process, virtually nothing goes out of date. Rosebud Preserves love the honesty of traditional recipes, such as those for Piccalilli and Sweet Cucumber Pickle, where the ingredients list has changed very little since they first appeared in the 18th century. Their flavour-filled simplicity has stood the test of time. Taking care to use fresh, flavoursome ingredients, by gathering or buying in season, is an important part of their philosophy.

Over the years they have developed relationships with suppliers who care as much as they do. Rosebud Preserves have sought English growers, locally and from further afield, with knowledge and passion for their produce – freshly grown herbs from the Vale of York, new season rhubarb, tangy but delicate, from the West Yorkshire ‘triangle’ and dark fleshed damsons from an old orchard in the Lyth Valley, Cumbria.

The quality of their products is defined by all of the following – careful sourcing, generous quantities, simple balanced recipes, no additives, preservatives or even pectin, natural sets dependent on the properties of fruit alone, unrefined cane sugars and skilful cooking.
